This is my all time favorite and famous granola recipe. Crafted over the years by experimenting and blending different ideas! Made with wholesome, simple ingredients, it’s easy to customize and perfect for breakfast, snacks, or pairing with yogurt or milk. Enjoy this Maple Walnut Granola while it lasts—it disappears quickly!
Maple Walnut Granola
Makes 1 large mason jar (8 cups)
Ingredients
4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (or your preferred type)
1½ cups walnuts (or other nuts of your choice)
1 teaspoon fine sea salt (or ¾ teaspoon table salt)
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup sunflower oil, coconut oil, or olive oil
½ cup maple syrup (or honey)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional mix-ins: dried fruit, cocoa nibs, seeds, chocolate chips

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts, salt, and cinnamon.
Add wet ingredients: Pour in maple syrup and vanilla.
Coat the oats: Stir until everything is evenly coated.
Spread on baking sheet: Pour the granola onto the prepared pan, spreading it into an even layer. For extra clumpiness, press it down firmly with a spatula.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Cool: Remove from the oven and let the granola cool undisturbed for 45 minutes. It will crisp up as it cools.
Add extras: If desired, top with more dried fruit, chocolate chips, or other add-ons.
Store: Keep in an airtight jar at room temperature for 1–2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.
Tips for the best granola:
For chunkier clusters, press the granola firmly on the pan and avoid breaking it until fully cooled.
Mix-ins like chocolate chips are best added after baking to prevent melting.
Customize your granola with seeds, coconut flakes, or spices like nutmeg or cardamom.
I hope you enjoy making and eating this simple, yummy granola as much as I do! It’s so easy to customize to your taste and perfect for any time of day. If you try it, I'd love to hear your thoughts—share them in the comments below and let me know how your granola dreams grow!
