A six-month, in-person apprenticeship introducing herbal self-care and handcrafted skin care, rooted in seasonal learning, relationship with plants, and hands-on practice.

For those who feel called to work more intimately with herbs and traditional preparations, this apprenticeship offers a slow, intentional container for learning foundational skills while honoring the rhythms of nature.
This is a small-group, mentorship-based program held on the land and in shared making space at Wildflower Wellness and Wholistic Herbals.

Plant Identification
Discover the plants around you, understand their distinguishing features, and build a strong foundation for all herbal work.
Infusing Herbal Oils
Create foundational plant infusions that form the base for salves, creams, and other herbal preparations.
Formulating Teas & Tinctures
Work with herbs in concentrated forms, exploring traditional methods for extracting and preserving plant medicine.
Ethical Harvesting & Gardening
Learn sustainable ways to gather and grow herbs while honoring the land and nurturing reciprocity.
Crafting Salves & Creams
Blend oils, waxes, and plant allies to craft natural salves and balms for self-care and daily use.
Seasonal Connection with Nature
Develop a deeper relationship with the land and plants, integrating herbal practices in tune with the changing seasons.
Learn to craft with plant allies.

Each month centers around one plant ally and a core aspect of herbal practice, offering an integrated rhythm of learning and reflection.

Certificate of Completion
Participants who attend at least five of the six sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion recognizing their commitment to their education in herbalism.
This apprenticeship supports participants in feeling confident continuing their herbal practice and creating intentional, plant-centered preparations rooted in relationship, care, and traditional foundations.
This certificate is non-college accredited, does not provide licensure or medical training, and is not intended for diagnosing or treating health conditions. This course is offered as a lived, hands-on learning experience in herbalism.

This apprenticeship is offered on a sliding scale to support accessibility and collective care.
Sliding scale rates are available for pay-in-full registrations.
For those who would like to spread payments over time, a 4-month payment plan is available at the Blooming (standard rate).
Your Guide
This apprenticeship is guided by Samantha Lynn, founder of Wildflower Wellness, with nearly a decade of experience teaching herbal self-care, gardening, and plant-based practices. With care, attention, and intention, Samantha offers a supportive container for learning and connection — blending hands-on herbal crafting, seasonal plant wisdom, and reflective practices.
As your guide, she invites you to arrive as you are, explore your relationship with plants at your own pace, and cultivate skills that honor both the land and your personal growth. Throughout the six-month journey, you will be encouraged to observe, create, and connect — with plants, with the land, and with yourself.
