Service Description

Come into presence and practice hatha yoga in a private 40-acre high-energy greenspace (no pesticides used here), with ponds graced with whispering willow trees, and abundant wildlife with a group of fun, friendly like-minded people. Hatha yoga focuses on alignment by staying in poses for longer than one breath. This allows our body to slow down, settle into, and really feel each pose. This builds strength and increases flexibility in not only our body but also our mind. The ultimate goal of hatha yoga is to direct chi (life force energy) into our central channel and draw it up towards our crown chakra. Hatha Yoga also follows the principles of non-violence (Ahimsa) and compassion towards oneself and others. It encourages us to listen to our body, respect its limitations, and practice self-care. • Open to all ages, genders, sizes, and levels of experience. • Mats provided. • A yoga blanket and water bottle are recommended. • Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Donations: This class is donation-based $5-$20. If you feel moved to donate, cash or Venmo @Kristina-Karekos are accepted. Donations help maintain the greenspace and support the teacher and practice. Additional Info: • Natural mosquito repellents are provided, but feel free to bring your own. Bugs are generally not an issue until after dark. • Lincoln Rd Farms is 15 minutes east of Rochester, off Rt. 104E, behind the historic red barn. Park on the lawn along the 1000' frontage. • The class is weather dependent and may be rescheduled or canceled. A liability waiver must be signed before participating. About the teacher: My name is Samantha Lynn, and I have been practicing yoga, herbalism, and holistic health since 2016. I am a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200hr), a Reiki Level 1 and 2 practitioner, and I handcraft Wholistic Herbals. I completed my training in herbalism at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine, in yoga at Yoga Renew Teacher Training, in Reiki at the Purple Door Source, and in horticulture at FLCC. I created Wildflower Wellness as a way to reconnect people with their sense of self and the natural world. I offer Usui Reiki and Chakra Balancing sessions, Yoga classes, and many workshops to uplift and support our community. Personally, I enjoy music, art, dance, spirituality, and sharing my love and wisdom with all who are open!
